    "So. Wow. Thank you so much for the lovely record.

    My interest in the vinyl - in many regards - led me of course to the Discogs page of your band, and this particular release. There, it describes the stunning transparent blue and cloud-splatter design having taken form in a pressing of only 200 copies. Is that true? Dang. It's a blessing, indeed, to own this disc. Thank you.

    I really love the instrumentation throughout the album - what repeats and bends and ties the vibe of compassion and love and endearment all together. It's definitely kind of transcendental in that sense. That I'm carried away to a dreamy landscape, with odd bumps in the road and quirks that aren't far off the purity of the emotionally tight rhythms.

    Then, the lyrics, too. It's fun to listen to with the lyric sheet, and then in just pure auditory form. Side A is especially sweet - in what you express for your wife and your kids, I assume, and those feelings of connection and even the thin tethering that inevitably takes one from another either in death or misunderstanding, or some flow of the day, etc. It's really uplifting to listen to, and to infuse and ingest into my own sentiments of love and partnership / marriage. There's a lot of care here.

    The elements of folk and pop combine really nicely, especially in terms of what I've been listening to on my own end of things these past winter months. Where honest and potent lyrics and raw vocal tones hum along with some simplicity and beauty. But I also dig some of the digitized effects and warping qualities of sound. In that sense, I'm drawn to those murky and distorted and ephemeral aspects, too - with much pleasure."
